It is a basic tutorial, so it isn't very detailed so if you're confused by anything drop me a comment and I'll do my best to help you out. This tutorial also assumes that you have at least a basic knowledge of how to use Audacity or GarageBand, so you may have to look up some tutorials or play around with it to get familiar with the programs. The programs I use for making mashups are VirtualDJ, Audacity and GarageBand (Although GarageBand isn't necessary, I just prefer the interface of GarageBand more than Audacity) TWITTER twitter.com/kayemmjayy TUMBLR black-pearl-hourglass.tumblr.com/ INSTAGRAM instagram.com/kayemmjayy2 All audio, and visuals used in making these videos all belong to their respective owners. You can use Audacity for all of it, it's just the interface is different and I prefer to use Garage Band because it's easier to move different tracks around.

But you can add multiple tracks to Audacity and do the same thing. You might just have to spend some time playing around with the different settings and tools in Audacity, just to get familiar with it. But for a free programme you can do a lot with it.

I just find that Audacity takes a bit to get used to and isn't as user friendly as garage bad but sadly garage band isn't available for windows:( I'm not really familiar with any other software sorry! 2 года назад +2 You can mix and mash however you like, I just prefer to use acapellas and instrumentals because they sound clearer but I've heard mashups that just use 2 songs as they are and they sound fine.

Instrumentals usually come as part of the album and they can probably be found on RU-clip or for download if you can't buy them. To get the acapella, there are videos on RU-clip that show you how to get an acapella using the original song and instrumental using Audacity (which is free), just search something like 'make acapella with Audacity'.
